untitled (Free verse) by Jake
I sit here thinking of life's regrets. Picturing how things could be. I wonder if there was a way to write the wrongs. Would I still be me? I have done many stupid things Some huge and some small. But all important parts of life. It can all come to a wrong turn or a short fall. But all the choices had a purpose I don't know it all but I know part. It is enough to prove I have no regret. Even if I haven't always been smart. My mistakes have made me what I am I have always known this is true. And I know deep down I have done right. My choices brought me close to you. You have made my life a happy place. Always there when I need you. Memories locked inside my head. For this I will always care for you.
