Cobwebs (Free verse) by Lolly Clothes scatter
the floor
clutter covers
every inch of room
I don't mind so much
in fact
I really don't notice
immune to the filth
my Mom used to say
coke cans
random scraps of paper
mix with t'shirts and panties
making a kind of
calico carpet
I sometimes think
if I think of it at all
I just knock everything
to the floor
so I have a spot
on the bed
Up the ladder:
Enraged with a twist of confusion
Down the ladder:
âI Am Not The Oneâ
