Too Long (Free verse) by Luv2write I cannot see your face
and it's been far too long
since I've heard your laugh
and seen your smile.
And I forget the color of your eyes
and how your hair fell on your face.
Yet vividly I see your heart
the only thing that matters.
Your heart is pure and kind
and though I may forget your incredibly appearance
I will never forget your heart, your soul.

not quite enough creative bites here, but the use of contrast is good
hmmm. its good. its kind of the same old same old though. if it was written with more poetical oomph it might gain a better vote from me. 4
