Eye wanted Two (Free verse) by Patrice727
I limped down the shady corridor. It wanted to stretch infinitely. One plus two forever… who knew? This time will kill this feeling, shrew Checking down at my watch Frozen in time itself The lashes were slashing my eye But I try to know what I wanted And I don’t want infinite, just two Infinite is too much time to kill Crawled into this mine of mine In this inexplicable mind, self The door closed on my fingertips So did my heart on your day Today, this way was closed off too soon My brain didn’t mind much of the detour Heart may have cut the smooth flow shortly Is it imperative to rush? No? Dead meat rotting in the bread basket The smell always is infectious Wounds seem that way to me Are those dandelions real? Too many lions don’t dance the way dandy lions do in the spring Great dress it seems so long and curvy Two mountains of steamed clams you say? Survive the mountain and the clams will come from the sea The blind man never likes the ocean Or is it the sea? I’m not blind but I can’t see anything Dumb yes naïve no ugly some may say No dumping, no drugging, 65 mph

Up the ladder: Changes
Down the ladder: I'm alone
