Encounter (Lyric) by geewhiz1962
The glimpse across the room, what could it be? The glance, then avoidance, what's in it for me? Who was she seeing? Was I missing, what I should see? Who was this being? What a fascination, who notices me? The Encounter by chance, go for it, be free. The Encounter by chance, could not be for me. How could I show her, the burning fire to see. How could I pull through, I am so helpless, not free. Days turned to weeks. Weeks turned to passion. Months turned to a year, Was this still in fashion? The Encounter by chance, go for it, be free. The Encounter by chance, could not be for me. Sometimes when I lay, in bed all alone. Admiring my coverings, last time, her cologne. But, I can't help but wonder, If she thinks of me. Did the encounter mean something? Will it soon, not be? The Encounter by chance, I did it, went free. The Encounter by chance, I like it, I plea.

Up the ladder: Sometimes Peace
Down the ladder: Daddy, Please?
