leaving (Free verse) by elizabethann
stayed up until three talking about boys and makeup. we were trying to make it last. we were all growing up so fast. missed the days of boy bands and summertime lemonade stands. stayed up until three trying not to leave childhood forcing ourselves to stay in that moment giggling over him and her using whispers for bad words didn't want to sleep didn't want to ever leave. stayed up until three our last night together remains with us forever.
