From Aristocrat to Aristocrat ~ Eulogy for Vasil Pepo (Lyric) by marvelis
Like Aeneas who founded Rome, He founded his family's home. What makes a man truly great? Withstanding discrimination's hate. He built an empire on information. But when doom fell upon a nation, And water came with a ration, Upon him fell the hate of oppression. For the vile to stand victorious, The noble must be hain In a manner that is notorious; Never to rise or live again. He stared into oppression's eyes And never once blinked his own eyes. Read the message Homes they would ravage. Jealousy took almost all he had And pressured him until he bled. They tried to drive a knife through his heart But only managed to slice the palm of his hand. Oppression stole his empire And drove him into exile. But they could not take his nobility. He was forced to work jobs that were a tragedy. With a will that was iron He worked like a lion. Every day and every night, To return to his rightful height. When his youth had left him He had rebuilt his empire; Only this time it stretched higher. Isn't it ironic that all foundations lay beneath the ground? From the Eiffel Tower to the Coliseum - buildings truly grand.
