Sea Struck (Free verse) by Jsylum
The sea, the sea by night the sea ten thousand miles empty beside me I ebb and flow along the glow of the Northern Sea. Asleep, awake, and dreaming deep, dark, and lolling, alone and lonely onward, through the night Faith, oh save me visions I do see of a horizon beyond the free. Beyond the black and darkened sea, under the blue expanse blacker water lies beneath the thermocline red and toxic in my mind How many creatures dost thus lie? scattered, scarred, and battered heavy under pressure pressed beneath the swirling sea. I float above, now unaware, in coral foam and deep green deeps among endless callings of the waves that lure me from sun struck sleep into ocean mist and morning haze and thoughts of Eternity.

Up the ladder: Irreplaceable
Down the ladder: Wejy
