Spider Spider (A Parody in Form) (Free verse) by Blue Magpie
Spider spider sitting tight in your hollow out of site what mere mortal human mite can stand the poison of your bite. In what architectural spire grew thy silken strands of wire and what inner cavern drear hatched the dawning of thy fear. With what secret ancient art have you girdled round my heart; and what power from your essence keeps me still bound in your presence. What the magic, what the spell holds me in your living hell and what angel from on high could give me back my wings to fly? And when you're finally satisfied how can it be that I've not died or is it just that I forget and think that I'm still living yet. Spider spider sitting tight in your shadow out of sight, what mere man is there that might, withstand the wonder of your bite.

yes. nicely woven. "mite" should be "might" in S1, otherwise, very pleasing.
