Haiku Moon (Haiku) by [mojo]
Watch.
From the meadow comes the Haiku Moon....
Five birds rise soundless,
Seven clouds reel in the blue,
Five rays from the moon.
Five o'clock moon shine,
Daylight steals your position,
Though stars start shining.
Above the corn sway,
Your liquid white disk looks down,
On the fading day.
How deep is the sky?
How close are the stars that shine?
How empty the black?
Back to the ground now,
Lying still, soaring high too,
Cool air takes warm breath.
In cascading grey,
Steam clouds of lighter than cold
air moving away.
Watch.
Into the air goes the Haiku Moon.
