The Joy Of Not Being A Spider (Free verse) by ellisonandrew
Good morning spider How are you? Tell me If I was small would you eat me? Weave your wicked web around me and leave me to die? Tease and taunt me like you would a fly? But I am big and you run away in case I squash you or drown you or pull at your legs Some people are scared of you spider I'm not I just don't like you...... But I've had a good day today spider So I'll spare you Until next time

Up the ladder: Part of human nature
