Mornings (Free verse) by alvinb
Morning is arriving fast.. I can now rest, at last.. Just thinking of what I learned from the past.. Those memories, in the end, will make me last.. I will survive this filthy world.. This place full of dirty words.. Will just be observing how things work.. And will be lying here until it all bursts.. Hello oblivion.. Take me into your conviction.. So I can take what's for me proper.. Into the great and deep slumber..

Up the ladder: Strings and Sinews
Down the ladder: popes body

there's a bit of ambivalence about the topic. if this is not about suicide, it may be more interesting than it initially appears.

oh dear...what do you think is for you proper? Sounds like you think you deserve something better, we have only what we create and if your creation is words, make them come alive.
