Getting Burned (Lyric) by sliver
What wonderful surprizes This world has in store For those with open eyes Each day grants a little more Let's pretend that life is a chamber Holding not only water and blood But a spirit designed to cure This rapidly growing flood Our lives should serve a purpose, And it's not about ourselves. selfishness and lack of trust Will pave the road to hell. I guarantee the more you give The more you will get in return The only way to truly live Is not to worry about getting burned.

Up the ladder: Little Robin
Down the ladder: Life is a moment

I like the idea. No expert here but with some tweaking it could flow better

I totally agree, it's rough. I probably wrote it at 2 AM and never cleaned it up, it's funny, I was thinking similar thoughts the other day, maybe I should write a new one and delete this one... or something...
