Unwind Again (Free verse) by dclark
The moon falls down and the night stands tall. You're inside your wood house. You got the call and you could not breathe, only believe the air is for you to breathe. The sun burnt out, night is now my home. Then we all freeze, knowing the gods killed them all. So, the Arctic mounds of ice melt, and the drive ways becomes an ocean breathing. I know my heart is dry, and when the leaves are falling down, my friends will be gone, and I am leading on my own, I know we're all no one, and I blame it all on weather. It looks like I'm the fall, and winter, it just relies on the cold, and your dandelion ghost for your fellow lovers. Time now is starting to unwind, and I am starting to unwind again.

Up the ladder: Her tears
Down the ladder: glass of red wine
