unheeded (Free verse) by Skamper
Thankyou for your concern about my chosen habit warnings taken fairly well all things considered Thanks a bunch for alienation I’d forgotten myself and my place for a minute Thanks for creating something to fill the vacuum left by an overdose of politically correct brainwashing to cleanse us of prejudice and did this very procedure remove also our inhibitions toward being offensive But, there is another side another round of giving thanks – thanks for making it cool again for taking the very reason we started and using it in what you thought was inspired sadly - you became my parents So – I sit in my bedroom similar yet different to the first one 30 years ago with the fan on the window open which I’m Facing blowing clouds through the flyscreen And – I take great pleasure in announcing I feel the thrill again

Made me think of my teenage years and smoking through the bathroom window!

My father threw a glass of water at me threw my bedroom window while I was enjoying a smoke with my dearest friend. He was a fireman at one time in his life. So, at the supper table that night, my mom got home from work, ask my father how his day was, and his reply is as follows, "I put a fire out in Bethy's bedroom today. I think she and Edna will be fine, I think they were scared though, thank god I was home at the time." lol
