In desperate need (Lyric) by outoftouch
Without you, I'm nothing. Nonexistent, a mere glimpse of reality. That's just what I need; I need someone to hold me through the night. Not afraid to say everything will be alright. I need someone to be there for me, liking me for who it is I want to be. Someone there through thick and thin, not afraid of where we've been. Just where we happen to be going. Don't say I don't need you; you have no idea what I've been going through. I need you like a fat kid needs cake, not just another stupid fake. I'm so tired of phonies, and jerks, I'm tired of getting hurt. Though all this time I am complaining, It is certainly me who needs saving. It hard to live day after day, knowing everything I've ever known will never be the same. I just want a Romeo, a knight in shining armor, a prince, though those seem to be in short supply

"liking me for who it is I want to be." <-- an interesting line

"I need you like a fat kid needs cake," <-- less so, unless that's the feel you're going for throughout
