Man in the mirror (Free verse) by thepinkbunnyofdoom
I've come to see that I can't save you if I can't save me So I've decided to take it one step at a time and see if maybe I can't save myself from the man in the mirror Because his view of the events is so much nearer To the truth, and the evidence of memory His proof, and the power it holds over me No matter how clever or cunning you may be You can not escape What the man in the mirror can see Every imperfection of the skin Every dirty little sin There is nowhere to hide Nowhere to run He can see them all Each and everyone

Up the ladder: wretched
Down the ladder: Ode to Thomas
