A No One With A Face (Free verse) by calmyourself
I miss myself for I am gone my face holds no emotion I gather mashing idleness apply it like a lotion It wears me well for as you see I fit in with the masses We laugh and kill and play all day and toy with deadly gasses I miss myself because myself in place is now a mass and fight in wars to win this game Indeed this too shall pass Through sickness and through misery I will not think as all And if to save the nothing crowd indeed I'll take the fall To this I gladly slice my chest and give my bleeding heart The only legal blessed cult of which I'll be a part I'm power hungry for the power of Democracy and willingly I'll slaughter all of those who disagree The good Lord smiles warmth down as we trial out our bombs And curse Satan in Jesus' name For crashing CD-ROMS Reply to doubtful questions with quotes from the same book And if you're told it's there then never take a second look I miss myself for I am gone and sent here in my place: A nothing who like others is a no one with a face
