Wait (Lyric) by MacFrantic
This is me dying And I’m smiling Are you surprised? Isn’t it reviling? I think we made it Just give me your hand Consecrated Wait How long have I waited? Wait I’m becoming faded So you’ve picked up And you’ve shipped out Can you slam the door On your way out? I think you hate it Just give me the word And I’ll hate it too Wait How long have I waited? Wait I’m becoming faded You were eighteen It was raining I stood outside For you, waiting I think you should say it Cause it’s strong But we couldn’t save it Wait How long have I waited? Wait I’m becoming faded My eyes are clouded but my head is clear You’re mouth is moving but I cannot hear I feel your arms wrapped around my chest And as we embrace I can feel what’s next But wait How long have I waited? Wait wait wait I’m becoming faded The next day Will come some day Can’t you see We’ve come such a long way? We never made it And the distance Between us has faded Wait How long have I waited? Wait How long have I waited? Wait...

Sung, it might move me, but just reading, it seems like repetitive meander without arriving.
