tuesday (Free verse) by the indign
tuesday forgot me and left me on the train, sending me against the wind into a solitary stream; hid me from what i love, kept me held away; whispered how i long to be and threw me out to sea. tuesday turned its back on me, kept me locked in secret showing me all the things i fear, and what i know can never be; threw the images into my head, forcing out the disbelief; unshielding my safety net and taking all my heart from me. tuesday locked me out, left me to myself, to sear and seethe and lose my dreams, to bleed out and fade away; hear the cries from within and feel my empty heart as it drains; feel the tears swell and flow and burn along their lonesome path.

Up the ladder: Plot twist
Down the ladder: part of autumn
