Hat of the Hare (Free verse) by thepinkbunnyofdoom
I could spin my words in circles Until my tongue was tied in knots Emptying out the Mecury lining my thoughts They say I'm madder than the hatter I call myself the hare At the tea party But not entirely there Would you care for a race Nevermind I forgot my place Beat by a turtle and a tedious course Next week, he faces the horse Hoping to steal the cup Or at least that brown derby
