identity theft (Other) by skaskowski
my face just flew off of my head, i guess that he was through with lying for my eyes when they refused to look at you. so i've scribbled something crude to be a makeshift substitute with a sharpie that i found inside a box of odds and ends. now, i wonder where he's gone? where do the faces go to hide when they leave the sleeping owner whom they once identified? do they climb up through the air until the earth is just a speck? or do they bore deep down into the ground where moles have yet to step? and if i ever see my face again, will he remember me? will he recognize these wandering eyes or just glide on right by? i guess all this just goes to show that you will never see the twisted shapes made of my face when you raced away from me.

Up the ladder: all alone
