One Voice Remains (Free verse) by Rainbow_chaser
As i sit here and ponder My heart fills with pain, The mind chatter quiets one voice remains. It is her Mother Earth she speaks to my heart, She tells me that love Is where we must start. Love yourself, one and another family and friends, Animals, plants, All women and men. The Children, the trees, All those that live in the seas. Love the Earth, the Sky Above and Below, Learn to love Within And love can only grow. Show others to love they will pass it along too, In order to heal and help this Earth You must first heal and help You. Then and only then When we rise as one, We can all help to heal What we all have done. Autumn Dawe

Up the ladder: My concept of existence
Down the ladder: Plot twist
