They that do not scream (Free verse) by INTRANSIT
What troop of butterflies ever threatened with their beauty but in a pavillion. What pile of ants isn't holding underground meetings. What Walking stick ever worried about a fireplace. What spider, mother of unseen millions. What moth ever called for reinforcements. What Tse Tse fly ever hankered after it's own lab. Even the Mantis cocks its head in prayer: "Won't you leave your window open?" And the air conditioner clicks on with a buzz.

Up the ladder: Mannequin
Down the ladder: The Magic Of Autumn

Yeah, good point. Ignore the screaming malcontents with their petty little gripes and open the window for the mantis.
