Too far (Free verse) by heroditus
In going too far he travels the distance before day breaking himself open on a haphazard blade someone forgot to put away sells slices of skin I am my own story he says but the grey of his eyes in the city makes it difficult to see him mostly except when he points to himself or others or answers back or looks away and he knows that in choosing pain always wins and choice cannot choose itself so he settles on the edge of a large rock throwing pieces of skin at the wind.

Up the ladder: What R U?

I'm enjoying this intil --and choice cannot choose. --He knows that in choosing pain always wins. Is excellent. At this point a 4. Because you can do better.

I like this though I'm not convinced by the ending. Good rhythmic beat and central image.
