The Bonfire of the Vanities (Free verse) by Firestarter
Let's all stab skewers into our eyes and praise God over a bonfire of vanities. Raise the heat, we'll all burn and dance upon the ashes of materialistic immortality. Roast the stupid, suckling pig we've fattened with our lies. End the corruption, in lovely destruction of faith overshadowed by greed Light the torches, gentleman We're coming home tonight. Hell awaits our beauty, our picture, perfect duty. So set the blaze, our icon gods Celebrity status ascertained in a fiery masquerade November 18, 2004

gawd, you're good...this has a great flow to it, is extremely well-written with a very powerful delivery...great poem!
