Subdued (Other) by blindwriter
This silent place was always here
At the edge of quiet
With ethereal pools of green and clear
Swimming by it
Stirring layers with my hand
Burrying my feet
With miles and miles of willing sand
It is complete
I couldn't vanish through the sky
I sink into the deep
The final grain of ruthless pain
Covers my sleep
I wouldn't think so morbidly
So change my tone
My mind meanders idly
When I'm alone
I shouldn't care to write my name
Elusive, seas be
Send this unknown prince to fame
Within the sea
My mind returns in conundrums
Dodging the riddle
And tired, weary, earth becomes
Me in the middle
O'er splashed my thoughts upon the tide,
Upon this scene
My body used to subdivide
As inbetween
Submerged, my own subcontinent
Sounds are rude
My own deflated confidence
Has been subdued
