Hope in a Bottle (Free verse) by timtonio
We get down muddy. Scratch out salty eyes. Sloshing through endless swamp, And behold! Three rubs, just a wish. Something's going to go my way. You hold me down. Marsh of men. Unattainable love. Feet are stuck, And behold! Three rubs, just a wish. Now something has to go my way. Anything owned holds no equal. Held beyond the grasp of my vulture talons. Beyond the gaze of my listless eye. To he whom holds you, I wish the worst. Three rubs, a final wish. Nothing seems to go my way.

Up the ladder: Cold-Blooded Pillow
Down the ladder: Illumination

Good, except for the part about a lazy eye. *9*

P.S. Everything owned can be redeemed at you local Wal-mart for an item of equal or lesser value.
