Image (Free verse) by gayguy2005
Looking through the mirror. Into another world, back words from mine. But is it right and I’m wrong? My reflection taunting, voices of my past, trying so hard to run, somehow I’ve collapsed. I’ve fallen so God damn hard, and I’ve sunk so fucking low, that it seems right, to just go with the flow. Life is no longer simple, seems like the hardest race, running so fast and hard, I’ve somehow tripped on my face. So I walk round, wishing upon luck, that some how who I once was will somehow be found. Running through the streets, a certain image to portray, that I push others love away, till I reach my illusion, and admit that I’m ok. Don’t know why I care, feeling their the non existent stare, thinking that they are judging everything I do. Its me. My obsession taken over, powerless to its hold, following its orders, do what I’m told. Reflection just the same, I see what’s not there, worried bout everything, that I think about eating, funny how it seems, that Its myself who’s beating me. Not good enough for someone’s love, till I love myself, a never ending circle, rules and regulations. Looking through the mirror. Into another world, back words from mine. But am I right and is it wrong?
