Sport (Free verse) by MacFrantic

A dog you are Spit soaked jowls Flashes of vice Beneath a razored grin Rage, Blood and water, Deadened eyes Flesh tearing Wrinkled bone Bruised pride Sweat stings Eyes Open wounds Sweat stings victory A blistering cry And time has stopped Gold is heavier than silver Blood is thinner than soil

It is a simple metaphor for sport in general people!
This not about dogs, but the essence of sport.
Sports turns men into animals, for what? People will kill for the gold and no one really remembers who died for what.
