And the new Patriotic zombies, Stood aside And raised their flags And did nothing while he died. Liberty and justice were only for the rich And not enough cared to bitch, While blow on blow, The buckling on the harness chafed. The sleeping rebels slowly waked. And they cried; Nothing but force will restrain Those to whom might is right! Where is the force that will suffice? We are 280 million strong Yet quietly herded are the throng, To conform To the new order; Global madness Chaos and sadness Terror threats abound Where safety is only found By the police state that mutates To dictate and enslave This road to hell we pave By blindness and passivity In our complacent naivety Caring only for supposed comfort And material prosperity. The gentle masses drink and stumble Pressing on, each in their mundane way, Fat and happy fed full up On media run by the corrupt Living only for today Oblivious in every way To the deindustrialisation And out of control regulation The ultimate objective Is our dehumanization In steady preparations For increasing mass oppression In denial and confusion We’re sold this grand illusion While in a state of collusion Content in our delusion. This successful induction By a cult bent on destruction Born in a closed system of logic By Authoritarian structure Refusing to be modified Except By executive order Will further open our borders Leaving due process at the gates Though true patriots still embrace And protect the constitution of the United States. While teaching others of the values espoused therein, We will not succumb we’ll win! We’ve done it before and we’ll do it again We need only remember our past When Patrick Henry’s words came to pass- “The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north Will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased At the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; But as for me, give me liberty or give me death!” And so it was that Uncle Sam lay down and died. His last words carried on a final breath “Give me Liberty or give me death” The Freedom fighters vowed revenge Their Uncle’s life they would avenge. Compelled they were to seek a plan To save America from “the man”. They called on Johnny to get his gun But the feds had Johnny on the run. It didn’t matter anyway Because his RFD tag Said he was a gay And by then the constitution had Blown away and turned to dust, So there were no militias To fight for us. Our only hope was to take up arms But the ATF blew up our farms. Now revolution is a fruitless cause And we can only for a moment pause And wonder how it came to pass That the powers of an elephant an ass Could swallow up our freedoms whole And no one stopped them while they stole; The last small shreds of dignity; Our freedom and our liberty.

Christ, by the end...? I was still a communist.
My suggestion, keep the last stanza and eat the rest.
