Sonnet of a Young Dreamer (Lyric) by kashewg

The dreamer waits to wish upon a star, Her ears are closed to dissonance tonight. She wonders how life ever got this far, But in her blindness, everything's all right. Desiring pain to slip away somehow, She yearns for sweetly effortless success. But without blood or sweat upon the brow, The dreamer's days will soon become a mess. She learns that through the troubles love goes on, And though there may be sadness, beauty reigns. For past tonight, a golden sun will dawn, Illuminating peace and wind and rain. She wants to tame a star tonight it seems, We'll never understand her world of dreams.

Slightly over-romantic language, and it's a very overused rhyme scheme.
