Lessons on being a man (Free verse) by thepinkbunnyofdoom

When you are a man You will come to know many things For instance the horrors Of buying your wife another diamond ring Or the shear terror That will no doubt fill your head The first time you see Your child in a hostpital bed You must learn much to be a man But worry not, I'll help you as best I can When you are a man You must come to learn many things One of them to be the way The sickened car sings You must learn to be a doctor Whether it be the home or your own hurt you are nursing You must learn to be a proper king Or else a sailor, for you will get good at cursing Hammer, Hammer, and oh shiny nail What looks so simple, can be an utter hell When you are a man You will talk of many things But never of sorrow May your lips ever sing For to be a man, and be one well Weakness must not show For none can hurt that which is broke intentionally If they never know These are the lessons to being a man Follow them as best you can They are by no means complete or finished to any degree But then again, what of lessons in life, ever can be
