September 11, 2001: That Day (Free verse) by blues361

That was the day the world changed Many left hurt, many left dead The world left shocked History different forever That Day While some shattered, some happy Some crying, some celebrating Lots thinking who did this horrific thing Twin Towers gone, Pentagon partly gone That Day Every September 11th will mark that horrible day Remembering all those innocent people lost The U.S. staying strong That Day

Bleu... I firmly agree with your sound stance on these most serious of subjects. I know first hand the tribulations and suffering that compounds one's ability to deal with reality while in the grips of denial. See, last week, my baboon came down with ebola Bleu, and the economy of my third world island? Collapsed, not to mention my poor perfect 90 year old grandmother is not perfect anymore since she caught aids from a botched hair transplant. Bleu, you are a poet and wise to fight the system so. You are a super trooper young man. A super! trooper. I however am drunk and moments away from being shot in front of a firing squad for squandering my peoples assets and fornicating with their livestock and sons and daughters. Forgive me Bleu.
