Nightmares (Free verse) by openwounds

I'm your worst nightmare As you walk around without a care Have you ever cut yourself? Have you ever needed help? You're the perfect ones You don't wonder where your parents keep their guns. You never feel ugly Or like you don't belong In fact, I'm screaming the unpopular song. I wish I fit in On second thought, no I don't. Even if you ask, I won't. I can't join the sheep Why don't you cry every night? Because all I can do is weep. You've never been called a name You don't even know how it feels to be lame You're so pretty And so funny You wouldn't spare any change Even though you're made of money. I'm trash to you And that's fine with me, Trash is what I'd rather be.

i totally get the feeling you are conveying. there are some cliches like sheep, etc. but the poem is well composed
