Bloody Night (Ode) by Ted Bundy

I want to keep you alive, Long enough to see my mask unveilled, So we're going for a little drive, And you will watch your lover be impaled. Only I can have you, You belong to me my dear, But if we're to die together, Then we must live our last night in fear. She screams as she sees her boyfriend, Bleeding from a gaping head wound, Now its time he met his end, It will be over very soon. She refuses to watch so I make her, By sellotaping needles under her eyes, She blinks, and she bleeds, Forcing her to watch me gut him. So I go to the corn and fetch my scythe, His blood is warm, he's barely alive, Then the sound of his skin rips, And I slice the crimson off his lips, Then I kiss her with his skin, And say to her 'its not me its him' He still breathes even though he's been skinned, So I take the decision to remove his limbs, I start by removing his head, Sawing away as she witnesses the bloodshed, As I tie her up in his entrails I wash my face in his blood, I ask her if she loves me, And tell her I'm no Psycho, Just simply misunderstood. Then I feel cold, Wet and sticky, She has stabbed me with his jagged neckbone, Screaming she runs with her eyes bleeding black, Stright in to a tree and I hear her neck crack, I crawl to her body and start to cry, And watch myself bleed knowing soon I will die, I link ourselves so we are together in death, And wait for that eternal breath.

just seems like a list of fucked up things to do

maybe needs tightening to give the words their full power.
