The Outcry (Lyric) by thepinkbunnyofdoom

The problem of modern day society Is obviously too much god-damned technology When we’ve all got atom bombs in our basements And our shallow faiths in gods have found cheap replacements In dirty books and Magazines Now we sit and worship our TV screens Even the Amish have cell phones Cause we live in an age afraid to be alone Whatever happened to homecooked meals The ones without microwave seals Are you really telling me that life is so fast That we can't take the time to make something that last We pack ourselves in like rats then turn on one another Like cannibals the babies eat their mother You call this one nation under god and I agree My only question is how far below

A bold new sentiment! This is the first time anyone has ever expressed misgivings toward technology!!
