Mummy (Free verse) by Cali

The cold breath of the doctor said I’m sorry she didn’t make it I broke down right then and there My young heart couldn’t take it Why did mummy have to go? And Leave me all alone The pain is hurting deep inside Like a cold cutting stone It was cancer that took her life away And gave her wings to fly Even though she is an angel now Why’d she have to die? Who’s going to teach me right from wrong? And help me dress myself Teach me to wear make up And to look after all my wealth Who’s going to teach me the joys of life? And teach me about love I wish my mummy could do that From way up there above But ill never see her face again Or her shinning eyes Why is it that the one you love Always has to die? I will stay with daddy now And dry up all his tears Mummy please watch over me And conquer all my fears Mummy oh just one more thing I love you more each day I look at you all the time Though you’re far away Stay with me by my side Until my life is through And on that special day I die I will be with you

Dead people don't become angels. Even the most basic grasp of theology would tell you that. This is also at least the second poeme in which you have rhymed "love" with "above" in some insipid reference to heaven.
