At The Gas Station (Free verse) by Tsoots

At the gas station, when the flys are resting, someone must wash the windshield. A bearded man walks up to you and asks you to turn off the radio. Does anyone miss home.

Am I missing something? My initial reaction upon reading this was one of disbelief of how this has so many 10s, despite the poignance of the last line.Is there some deep metaphor here, and if so PLEASE could someone explain it for the benefit of us peasants.
Or have I just made a complete twat of myself?5 for confusing me
