Conquered Innocence (Free verse) by muted_screams

clumsily, i fumbled with the wrapper to a carmel that i couldn't refuse. i was sure to sit up straight, prim and proper, as mother liked. "A lady should never slouch," she would always say. the clouds looked so far away, massive in their make up of heavenly cotton candy. [i always wondered what they really tasted like...] i found dragons and castles and damsels in distress being rescued by knights on white horses, clad in metal and full of valor; of honor. clumsily, i fumbled with the buttons to a lust, a man, i couldn't refuse. i was sure to lay on my back, and please him; the naive innocent, as he liked. "A lady should never tease," he would always say. The stars looked so far away, massive in their glimmer and promises of heavenly rhapsody. [i always wondered what his skin really tasted like...] i found pain and pleasure, grinding of hips and burning of need, and innocence being taken by men prone to self indulgence, clad in latex and my warmth... full of my youth; of him.

A lady should never pollute the world with wild and dangerous opinions of her own, but lowliness...lowliness is what she should strive for.
