Replying to a comment on:
Vigor Mortis (Lyric) by WarrenGDawg
Seated, and dumfounded indeed
Awestruck by her whom I behold
Accused of impure thoughts I may be
But the proximity of her beauty makes
Disdainful commentary melt away
As a Fudgesicle on a summer's day
Breath withdrawn involuntarily
Her supple skin creating contours
Her tender face smiling casually
A cliched, crinkled nose healing wounds
A salve for the sorrows of my being
An open fire aft a long day skiing
Clear eyes that placate those
Who gaze into them for but one sec
A subdued voice asks how the day goes
Concentration fails the determined man
Who awaits this creature's beck and call
Yet enhanced focus bestowed upon he who sees the impending fall
Winter, spring, summer, seasons
Equinoxes and solstices
Eons as the soft embrace runs
Leaves turn, refoliage commences
Two bodies wrapped in mutual affection
Sacrificing, gaining, understood without detection
Pain subsides and returns to avenge
Recollection of glorious conversations past
The twine unwound, the die long cast
With the agony of a love insatiable;
For a girl unique, my admiration unrefrainable
Becomes torture and anguish - her heart unattainable
