Twilight of the Mind (Other) by Liam Wallace

Twilight of the Mind Come to me at daylight's end When shade and shadow start to blend The fringe of dreams so softly send Sweet memories of you The heat of day now fades away My fantasies come out to play My mind is open to what may Transpire before dawn's dew Soft the light that shines this night I sense you near with child's delight Within your arms all wrongs made right 'Til sunlight is renewed Are you a dream or fantasy? A vision no one else can see? An angel sent here, just for me? That from my longings grew? There are some questions best unasked For Truth may hide in many masks True the vintage in the cask With memories of you Liam

I sat in the same shelter if it's in Shenandoah National Park or near the south boundary - great country and Trail Days in Damascus, Virginia was a hoot. I remember most hearing heavy footsteps outside the tent at midnight. Good poem, nice recollections
