Delicate hearts grow thick skins. (Ghazal) by Nepanthe

May the shell of cold, fallen snow, encase me. As time be fates us, fallen snow encase me. My heart does covet though kindly love embrace me. For this genuine sin, may fallen snow encase me. The only true sin is harm against another, Injurious hope, may fallen snow encase me. Any road impels me to a gentle lover, As I pass you by, may fallen snow encase me. Insatiable my love is, and craves your embrace. if this poem your curse, may fallen snow encase me.
