Melancholia (Lyric) by vulcan

Do not shun my eyes O enchantress fair! I long to possess those lily-loving lips of yours I long that ghastly gown of yours to embrace! See!all the world withers To let blood bubble up In those unquenchable wan lips, See to what abyss of bliss Your feverish fancy leads me miss! O thou unravished mistress Let me touch you for a moment I know,I know an embrace suffices my empty cup of bliss! O Death!a massive congregation are in exile Unworthy of your dark dazzling dynasty! I,here, with teary eyes Wait wailing When your lively mantle From over the mountains would rise! Come!without ceremony we'll mix For Marriage is forbidden to Ghosts! Right then we'll go from door to door And when you cool hearts of people to the core I'll sing of you Whom I terribly boast!

Christof 4-Sep-02/1:37 AM
I think this goes beyond Melancholia - it is a baldly stated death wish! But the phrasing is strong and , as always, your metre is powerful.
