From (Free verse) by sacred_poet_me

I am from the year 1991. On April 30th I was born in New West Minister at 2:59 in the afternoon. The day where I came onto this earth and lived my first day. I am from Kathy and Ed. I bear my father’s last name in pride. I have learned to ignore Jeff my older brother. I have known these people all my lives and I will never forget them no matter what. They are the ones who have helped me throughout my short life. I am from the smell of homemade Chinese food. My grandmother’s kitchen is filled with delightful spices, foods, and utensils as I walk through. Pots and pans clang together and I smile upon hearing them. I am from the place I’ve known all my life. Where memories are fond and joyful no matter how bad the pain is. I am from the trail leading to where my life really began. The place where I was introduced to new, wondrous things that could never have been imagined if I didn’t go there. Things that I wouldn’t be able to live without in my life. I am from the turning of book pages. When I read I feel every word. I am every word. Every word forms an image in my mind’s eye. I fall in love with the plot of the book and die a little as I finish reading the last few pages. I am from photos. Where I start young, peaceful, and brave. I proceed in life from there until I am the age I am now. I have learned to cope with scrapes, problems amongst friends, and bad grades as I look through my photo album. I have changed my personality and never will I be the same person once again. I am from home. Where I have always been. Living through thick and thin as my life has progressed throughout the past years. Sleeping within the same four walls I will always see when I close my eyes. I am from home.

Make your big sister stop stroking your ego with Tens, she's not helping you.

What I quite like in this Town Hall Registration Data list is the melancholic >>I am from<< repetition.
