Silent (Free verse) by storyspinner

The words I don’t say Come between us Slipping from my mouth Hovering in the air Sliding over skin – Soft, slick, and sweet I say I need your help What I mean is I need your touch The feel of your breath The slither of your tongue What I mean is The words I don’t say Come alive Twining around your throat Sliding through your hair A joy that I – forever mute May never have I want to scream HOLD ME And I want you To scream my name My skin trembles With the smallest whisper Of your voice I've begged you Hear me The words I don’t say Are unnecessary I’ve told you a thousand times The slide of my fingers On your wrist My breath on your neck Today, you listened To The words I don’t say

If I knew this was written by someone who could not speak, Id say it's sensual and meaningful to a reader who can. If I didn't know that I'd say the same.
