Wedding Poem (Ode) by al-naafiysh

All that I give, I give to you. My past is no longer, my present is temporary, and my future is yours to share forever. Not only do I give my love, but with that love comes patience, understanding, trust, respect and loyalty. I will love you as you are, not as I think you should be. Your heart I will want for myself, but the free spirit that lives within all of us shall not be touched by me. My love is that of a child, pure, innocent and full of trust. My eyes will see all the wrongs, but my heart will forgive. If you choose to soar, I shall soar with you. If you choose to rest, I shall lay by your side. My goal is to give you strength when you are weak. Ease your heart when you feel pain. And lift your spirits when you are down. You are one complete person, just as I am. We shall take these two complete, but separate entities, and form a perfect union. Accept them, enjoy them, and appreciate them, and protect this perfect union. If you ever say fuck them! You'll regret them!

Have you ever been married before?
The reason I say my goal is..." in verse is,because at first it was wonderful, after that he became m.f. to live with, but I did'nt want to leave because I thought he would change.
I wanted my marriage to be like my father and mother's.
I know no marriage has the perfect union, and the last verse is reality for some women. you give your all and all, and still get hurt.
Dont get me wrong it happen's both ways.
Your friend the math teacher.
