Winds Cakel (Free verse) by nothingtoanyone

Old feelings I thought were gone come back to haunt me in my sleep when your voice echoes off the walls of my mind. The wind’s cold cakel beats your voice against the chambers of my heart – blowing away the wall I built around you, exposing you to me once more. Long heeled scars start itching wanting waiting, for my impatience to rip them open reliving the forgotten pain I induced upon my self and transferred to you through my electrical current.
