If I knew (Other) by Rabbit

If I knew you were the last person I would see that night I would have taken a picture and put it in my wallet If I knew you were the last person i would touch that night You would have been the last person I would have hugged If I knew this was the last time I would smell your hair I would have told myself everything time I smelled that scent it would always remind me of you If I knew this was the last time I would have kissed you I would have made sure the last kiss would have been so unexpected that you would remember it for an eternity If i knew this was the last time I would hear you say good-bye I would have made sure the last words I said to you would be I love you

This is a reminder to all of us that love is a four letter word which must be used frequently, without qualification. It is the poem we all love to hear. This poem reached me and I'm old and cynical. Well done.
