Mushroom Potion #9 (Free verse) by <{Baba^Yaga}>

I believe in the sky I believe in the sunrise, and the ocean I believe in outer-space & The mushroom potion I have seen Saturn, turn into the world snake, and I have been told of the coming earth - - quakes, and I said "Good, let them come" Then I pissed at the grape-vine grabbed a handful of purples, and greens, and went for a walk through the pines, and through the trees, something followed me. Through the trees, something stalked me Passed the trees, it was inside of me I believe in angels, and space-ships I believe in black magic Inorganic beings, and in love, and all that's tragic. Chaos and order, and the Mayans too Dancing drunk Africans and Islander Voodoo. I believe in myself, and hard work in stone and in dirt I believe in giant temples and pyramids at sunset. I trust my mind I study plants I have spells, and knowledge and music to chant. I have yesterday, tomorrow, today I believe in all life, and that death is okay I believe in the simple, but yet, the divine Most cannot imagine the sights of #9. My father is digging a 300 foot long, four - - foot deep trench; up at his pear farm We dig at night, under the moon in the high desert of Southern California, star-light. Because, the sun out here will kill you There isn't a neighbor for three miles In any given direction. Green Mojave rattlers, and yellow bark scorpions.
